We are pleased to announce that access to the hacked Twitter Account of FactFocus (@FactFocusFF) has been transferred back to us by Twitter.

As previously announced, the hacking incident targeting Fact Focus Twitter accounts took place on February 11, 2025 and the access was restored on 24th April 2025.

Malicious tweets spreading misinformation during this time period, have now been deleted and in no way represent FactFocus or its team’s opinions.

Finally, we would like to address ongoing speculations on social media regarding the identities of our team members. To clarify once again: only those individuals listed as current or former team members in the ‘About Us’ section have ever been part of the Fact Focus team. Anyone not named there, has never been associated with Fact Focus in any capacity.

All regular members of the Fact Focus team have actively contributed to its reporting, been compensated for their work, and are consistently credited in published reports. Additionally, any services provided by occasional contributors or external service providers have always been paid for.

Fact Focus is registered as a digital media organization in multiple jurisdictions, including the United States. The names of all its team members and editorial board members are transparently listed in the ‘About Us’ section of the website.
